- Locking Arrangement
- Selectivity Pin
- Colour Coding
- Round Handles
- Pressure Equalizing Valve
- Dust Caps and Dust Plugs
- Drain Tools
Dry Break Couplers with Locking Arrangements provide added safety. This option eliminates the risk of accidental disconnection.
Protects against cross contamination amongst service media when a Hose is connected to the wrong Adaptor. Available across all sizes of Dry Breaks. Tank Units have slots which are mated with only corresponding Hose Units with Pins.
These pins and slots are coded for selection purpose.
Colour coding of couplings is often preferred to differentiate service media. Driplex offers 2 options to colour code.
- Tank Units – Tank Units can be coded by having different coloured couplings.
- Hose Units – Hose Units can be coded by having different coloured Handles.
Option of Round Handles is available for Dry Break Couplers. At times this is a preference of some operators and is also helpful for ease in connection and disconnection.
This option is usually availed for Driplex Dry Break Gas Tank Units. This system removes trapped pressurized fluid into the Tank Unit to ease connection.
Driplex strongly recommends the use of Dust Caps and Dust Plugs to increase the life of Dry Breaks. They prevent dust from entering the couplings which could also lead to their damage.
Available across all sizes of Dry Breaks.
Material – Rubber, Stainless Steel or Aluminium
Dry Break Couplings can be drained with the help of Drain tools. Available across all sizes for Hose Units and Tank Units.
